Alpha Delta Pi's international philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The Alpha Epsilon chapter specifically serves the Ronald McDonald House in Omaha, Nebraska. Ronald McDonald Houses are in local communities and focus on children in need. There are 195 Ronald McDonald Houses in 16 countries, which provide a "home away from home." These homes provide comfort and care, which are essential for families with seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. In addition to donating money, Alpha Delta Pi collegiate chapters and alumnae associations have dedicated time and energy to volunteering at these houses.
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families of hospitalized children or those undergoing outpatient treatments in the Omaha area. In the house, parents can break away from the hospital environment, have the support of other families, and ease some of the stress associated with their child's illness. It is a place where families can feel at home, cook their meals, watch TV, read, do their laundry, and enjoy the comfort of a warm and friendly environment.

In order to help support the Ronald McDonald House Charities, we hold different philanthropy events such as a benefit dinner at Noodles and Company or our Lionshare Challenge to raise money for our local Ronald McDonald House. With the help of local new media and generous vendors, we enjoy great success with this event each year! Throughout the semester, ADPis collect pop tabs and wish list items that we donate to the RMH. Last year alone, we collected 275,000 pop tabs! The money earned by cashing in the pop tabs can be used to pay bills and attend to the financial needs of the house each month. Additionally, every semester a group of ADPi's travel to the RMH and cook dinner for families staying in the house.
